First Umko. Papa Chalupsky pitched a tent. There were no other tents, no food, no clothes – support vehicles had not arrived.

Mike v Wierengen and John Keary were shivering and approached Papa for some help. No way.

Later they dropped the poles of Papa’s tent. He chased them with an axe for one and half hours through the bush. If he had caught them he’d have killed them!
